Back from Cologne, happy and rewarded

b01 Back from Cologne, happy and rewarded

For the first time, Kristalia attended the IMM Cologne trade fair. On the return journey, one of our suitcases weighed more than on the outward journey: it contained a prize!
The Interior Innovation Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the furnishings sector, was launched in 2002 by IMM Cologne; organized by the German Design Council.
The Elephant chair with a wood base (legs in solid beech), designed by Neuland studio owned by Eva and Michael, won the Best of the Best prize.
Some of the photos taken during these events can be viewed on our Facebook page.

Joko: the collection expands

J1 Joko: the collection expands

Presented for the first time at the last Salone del Mobile di Milano (April 2011), this version of the Joko chair, designed by Bartoli Design for Kristalia, has a slightly wider seat and all-embracing armrests. This chair has a linear shape with sophisticated appeal. In addition to entirely removable upholstery, it has a slimline yet sturdy structure, which makes it light and lets it fit dynamically into its surroundings.
The final version will be presented in January 2012 at the Imm fair in Cologne and at Maison&Objet in Paris. However, the Joko collection is destined to expand with new versions already being researched.

T 11 Ten years of Kristalia at La Triennale di Milano

We did not miss anything during the Milan Design Week …while the new products by Kristalia were being displayed at Salone del Mobile, an exhibition was held at La Triennale di Milano to celebrate ten years of the company life.
Ten pieces that made the history of Kristalia, and two new products recently unvealed: the Pulp chair by Christophe Pillet and the table Degree by Patrick Norguet.
In the middle of the room, an overview of catalogues and brochures, showing ten years of communication, up to the online experience.
An unforgettable anniversary!

Kristalia returns to NOW!Design à Vivre in great style

blog 1 Kristalia returns to NOW!Design à Vivre in great style

For the third time, the Kristalia team successfully took part in the regular event for international design in Paris.
Now!Design a Vivre, acknowledged internationally as a point of reference for contemporary decor and design, was chosen by Kristalia to present its new BCN Wood chairs, by Harry&Camila, to the general public, as well as Elephant Wood, by Neuland Industriedesign, which combines the warm appeal of wood with the comfort and attractive curves of these chairs.
Striking contemporary shapes are introduced with two design projects by Christophe Pillet for Kristalia: the Pulp cantilever chair and the Neat table.
In addition to these new products, the Kristalia stand hosted a large number of its most recent and already well-known creations, including the Rest outdoor collection by Harry&Camila, the Joko chair by Bartoli Design and the Rotor occasional table by Luciano Bertoncini.
Hence, the 2011 edition of “Now!Design à Vivre” offered new features and interesting ideas for fresh solutions in the future.
