The TNP occasional table, designed by Christophe Pillet to furnish the Théâtre National Populaire, one of the most prestigious French cultural institutions, is a new and important protagonist for furnishing homes and community areas, both indoors and outdoors. Its cast iron base, personalised with the theatre’s logo, supports a square or rectangular top in bent sheet metal. The entire table has a powder-coated lacquer finish in three colours: white, black or the same shade of red used in the Parisian theatre.
Founded in Paris in 1920 by Firmin Gemier, the Théâtre National Populaire will re-open on 11 November, after restoration work has been completed, at Villeurbanne near Lyon.

We did not miss anything during the Milan Design Week …while the new products by Kristalia were being displayed at Salone del Mobile, an exhibition was held at La Triennale di Milano to celebrate ten years of the company life.
Ten pieces that made the history of Kristalia, and two new products recently unvealed: the Pulp chair by Christophe Pillet and the table Degree by Patrick Norguet.
In the middle of the room, an overview of catalogues and brochures, showing ten years of communication, up to the online experience.

We received another pleasant visit: Christophe Pillet has recently joined us at Kristalia’s headquarter for a new study session on the Pulp chair and the Neat table.
The two products, unvealed during the past edition of the Biennale Interieur of Kortrijk (Belgium), will be exhibited at the “Now! Design a Vivre” exhibition in Paris, to which Kristalia will participate next January.
The meeting has been also an opportunity to talk about new plans for the future… but that’s another story!

We successfully took part in the 2010 edition of Interieur, the first biennial fair in Europe dedicated to contemporary design, which took place in Kortrijk (Belgium) from 15–24^th October.
On this special occasion, for the very first time Kristalia presented its furniture collection designed by Christophe Pillet, as well as the prototypes of some new products, for which further information will shortly be available.

After a long wait, the new 2010 catalogues by Kristalia are finally available!
The traditional “Home” volume comes for the first time with an “Outdoor” catalogue, which is dedicated to the open air design.
In both volumes an accurate and ingenious technical section comes before the photogallery, which shows the latest news, such as the chairs Joko and Elephant, the new table Sushi 12 Outdoor and the Rest collection of seats, besides the classical Kristalia’s collections.

The Sushi extendible table, in all its different versions, is one of the most successful Kristalia products.
