For the third time, the Kristalia team successfully took part in the regular event for international design in Paris.
Now!Design a Vivre, acknowledged internationally as a point of reference for contemporary decor and design, was chosen by Kristalia to present its new BCN Wood chairs, by Harry&Camila, to the general public, as well as Elephant Wood, by Neuland Industriedesign, which combines the warm appeal of wood with the comfort and attractive curves of these chairs.
Striking contemporary shapes are introduced with two design projects by Christophe Pillet for Kristalia: the Pulp cantilever chair and the Neat table.
In addition to these new products, the Kristalia stand hosted a large number of its most recent and already well-known creations, including the Rest outdoor collection by Harry&Camila, the Joko chair by Bartoli Design and the Rotor occasional table by Luciano Bertoncini.
Hence, the 2011 edition of “Now!Design à Vivre” offered new features and interesting ideas for fresh solutions in the future.
Also this year, Kristalia confirms its presence at NOW! Design à Vivre in Paris, with an exhibition stand offering plenty of new products, including two design projects by Christophe Pillet and other creations by designers who are well-established in the Kristalia team: Harry&Camila, Bartoli Design, Luciano Bertoncini and Neuland Industriedesign.
The designers will be at our stand according to the schedule posted in this article (click on “read more”).
We look forward to seeing you from 21st – 25th January 2011 at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte.
Hall 8, Exhibition Stand B14.
Have you ever seen an Elephant in the snow?!
In this recent interview Christophe Pillet tells about himself and the work in progress with Kristalia.
A night at the Triennale Design Museum of Milan, during the opening of the new offices. They have been designed by the architect Michele De Lucchi and furnished with Kristalia’s furniture.
Its legs recall a flower stem.
The glass top is delicate but durable, like a petal.
Its packaging, in recyclable paper, works as a base for a quick and easy mounting.
Sometimes, great ideas come from little things…it often happens at Kristalia’s.
Here the Oops table by Monica Graffeo, like you have never seen it before!
Triennale Design Museum di Milano, opened in 2007, becomes the scene of a new understanding of creativity and the essence of Italian design entitled “Quali Cose Siamo” (What Things We Are), through a selection of works by masters, known artists but also young designers.
Today, we suggest you a video hosted by Ultrafragola where the exhibition curators speak of ideas and emotions on which the project is based.
